This expedition starts and ends in Dibrugarh, Assam.

Dibrugarh is well connected by flights and trains.

Dibrugarh airport is 20 km away from Dibrugarh City.

If the flight is too expensive then you may consider flying to Guwahati and then traveling by the overnight Rajdhani Express that arrives at Dibrugarh in the early morning.

Yes, we will provide one pickup from Dibrugarh airport for the group.

We expect all participants to land in Dibrugarh before 12 noon on the said day. 

If your flight timing is post-lunch then you need to book a taxi to the hotel.

We will help you to arrange the taxi pickup.

We will assist you to prepare for the expedition in 3 ways -

1. We will send you a Document with all the information. We call it an Expedition voucher.

2. We will send you a pre-recorded video presentation.

3. We will have a Video call (zoom/ Google Meet) to respond to your queries and concerns.

We will provide well-maintained geared cycles.

Gear ratio: 8*3 

Cycle Type: Tourer bike (Hybrid tire). 

Size: 18.5 & 19.5 with height adjustable shaft (handle)

**If your height is less than 5.2 feet please do talk to us for the specific arrangement.

Yes, you can bring your own cycles. Hand them over to us at the time of reporting. 

Also, you’ll get a fee concession of Rs.3500/- per cycle. 

Please note that we will take care of your cycles in a similar way that we do for our rental cycles.
However there is always a possibility to have some scratches or minor damage while transporting the cycles in the Bolero.

Yes, the Vegetarian option is available.

Normally there are vegetarian Breakfast and Lunch items.

We are vigilant about your food-related requirements.

However, at dinner we provide a Non-veg option too.
But please note there is no exclusive veg kitchen for the veg food.

All mobile networks are mostly connected throughout the route. 

In all our night halts, we have good mobile coverage.

BUT while we ride through the forest patches, we might lose the network.

There will be a Backup vehicle, equipped with a Tool kit, Medical kit, First Aid Kit, and Emergency water supply.

There will be a technician traveling with us while riding.

There will be an expedition manager traveling with us to take care of any urgent needs and to maintain vigilance.
On this route, we are traveling in approximately 60 minutes driving proximity from basic Health care units/hospitals.

We will have a backup vehicle throughout our expedition. 

At any given time, we will be riding within a 50 km radius of the nearest hospital.

The route of EBC is mostly through the Himalayan foothills and in proximity of rivers.

Wind chill is expected.

November: Very pleasant. Ranging between 15 - 25 ℃.
December & January: Winter in the Brahmaputra Valley. Temperature ranges between 10-20℃ during the daytime. It can occasionally be foggy during the morning and evening time. Such pleasant weather conditions make this period ideal for cycling.

At night it will drop below 10℃ making it a perfect setup for our bonfire and conversations.

February: will be warmer than January by 5/10 degrees. 

March will be considered pleasantly warm with little rain.

You will enjoy the EBC route , if you are a regular cyclist. Considering the difficulty level, few rides are easy and few patches are challenging.

Basic physical fitness.

You need to log at least 100 km of total cycling within a month prior to the traveling date.
